- The Department has created pool of various industries through various initiatives. The Department Training Coordinator, Career Resource Centre (CRS) & Training Placement Officer (TPO) help the students for Internship at various Industries.
Department Training Coordinator distributes the training letter, training diaries and the joining Report (to be filled by Company Representative) to the students. Student then submits the training letter to the respective companies. Student collects the confirmation letter from the companies and submits to the coordinator. One Faculty from the Department is allocated to each student for monitoring and evaluation of the industrial training progress. A weekly report (soft copy) is submitted by students to their respective faculty supervisor and Internal supervisor perform the following duties:
a) Internal as well as company representative under whose guidance student is undergoing training fills the evaluation form
b) Training diaries are checked by both.
c) Weekly Reports (Hard copy) are collected.
d) Progress is monitored.
If there is any discrepancy regarding internship then the Faculty supervisor informs the Department Training Coordinator and further the matter is presented in front of HoD. A panel is constituted by the Department for the Mid-Term evaluation/Presentation, it is done for progress monitoring, under the supervision of Department Project Committee (DPC).The Midterm internal assessment is for 100 Marks (Presentation-40, Viva-30, Training Diary-15, and Weekly Report-15). External Presentation and Viva-voce, is held at the end of the semester to evaluate the final year students.
- Department also arrange In-house training for those students who were unable to arrange industrial training outside.
