The university demonstrates a strong commitment to SDG 16 through comprehensive governance measures, including its governing body, board of management, academic council, finance committee, board of studies, and IQAC, ensuring transparency and accountability. Student engagement is fostered via the student council, cultural clubs, clan system, Manav Rachna Incubation Centre, Internal complaints committee and the key stakeholders are actively involved through continuous feedback mechanisms. University also has specialised centres like CADR and CLSR, Manav Rachna Centre for Peace and Sustainability and the complementary participatory bodies such as OP Bhalla Foundation, Anti-Ragging Squad, and IQAC that ensure stakeholder engagement and safety. The university adheres to principles against corruption and bribery and upholds academic freedom through policies supporting faculty research, innovation, and career growth. Financial transparency is maintained via detailed financial data being maintained. The collaborations with government entities through legal aid camps, radio Manav Rachna, and community outreach ensure that the university is in line with the government policies and regulations. The university also conducts capacity-building initiatives like boot camps and moot courts to educate policymakers on critical issues like climate change, migration, etc. for neutral discourse on pressing societal challenges.
