International Business Machines Corporation (commonly referred to as IBM) is a well known multinational conglomerate having a turnover of more than US $100 billion with Headquarter at New York, US primarily having worldwide business in Computer Hardware/Software, IT Services and IT Consulting. IBM has tied up with Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (formerly MRIU) to jointly offer B.Tech-Computer Science & Engg. programmes with specialization in Cloud Computing, Business Analytics & Optimization, IT Infrastructure Management and Cyber Security & Forensics. IBM provides Learning Management System (LMS), Train the Teacher Programme, Student Projects, Expert Lectures, Industry connectivity for students and teachers to enable them to experience live IT Environment. The arrangement helps students to acquire domain skills in the most advanced areas of IT and preferential placements by IT companies. Students enrolled in this programme have access to an online Eco-system.

Platform namely Innovation Center for Open Standards enables students to access course material, discussion forums, student projects, industry mentors and news-clips. IBM shall also issue certificates for various modules after successful completion.

EMC2 (Academic Alliance)

EMC Corporation (EMC2) is an American Multinational Corporation headquartered in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, United States. EMC2 is world’s largest provider of data storage systems. EMC Academy is an initiative by EMC2 to create professionals to meet the demands of Storage Technology. Department of CSE, FET, MRIIRS is Academic Alliance Partner with EMC2 since Feb 2007.Faculty members have been trained by Industry Experts in the area of storage technology and cloud infrastructure services through teacher training program. These courses are included in the curriculum. After completing these courses the students are industry ready and they can take up the workspace challenges from day one.

INFOSYS CAMPUS CONNECT PROGRAM

Objective: Provides seminars/webinars, competency development programmes for students and faculty, student projects, case  studies, Infosys courseware, and a discussion forum.

Infosys is an Indian Multinational Corporation that provides business consulting software solutions headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. FET and Infosys have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under Infosys Campus Connect Program. Campus Connect is an initiative to increase the competitiveness of students in the knowledge economy. Campus Connect aims at evolving a model through which Infosys and Engineering Institutions can parter for competitiveness to enhance the pool of highly capable talent for growth requirements in IT. In this program, faculty members are trained by the experts in the Industry Oriented Courses in faculty enabled programs. Students and Faculty members are exposed to latest technology through Webinars. To improve the analytical and programming skills of the students, National Level Programming contests namely Aspirations 2020 are organized annually.

R- SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL LTD. (Collaborative Projects)

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (formerly MRIU) is at the forefront of this industry-academia partnership. The aim of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with R Systems International Limited, Noida is to make the technical education process rich and sound and jointly work on industrial projects.  The MOU will have several positive spin offs, most notably it would enhance the quality of the educational experience of students and the faculty members. R Systems International Limited will get technical workforce to work on the projects. R Systems International Ltd will provide live case studies, research based projects to Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (formerly MRIU). The University, for its part, will form a team of core faculty members with different area of specializations to undertake case studies, research based projects provided by R Systems International Ltd.

TCS PRAGATI PROJECT

Projects, Enhancing the employability

TCS has accredited FET (Formerly CITM) and established a special relationship with the university. TCS-MRIIRS Pragati Project has been launched in the year 2011 in joint collaboration with TCS and MRIIRS as a pilot project for the first time in India. In this TCS selected students from the first year itself and these students were imparted training in Software Development. This process was repeated for the upcoming batches. The senior students became mentors to the junior students. TCS-MRIIRS community has a mentor each from university as well as from TCS.
