What is the scope of the Automobile Engineering?
All major world auto manufacturers are setting their base in India. Moreover, with the exponential increase of automobiles on the Indian roads, auto experts are in great demand. After graduation students are eligible for placement in automotive companies like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra Mahindra, Honda Motors, General Motors, Tata Motors, BMW, Hyundai, Nissan, Chevrolet etc. The hands on practice in the laboratories also improve the self entrepreneurship capabilities. Some of the other areas are defence sector, regional transport office (RTO), space programme, banking sector, insurance sector, atomic energy, power plants, railways, research laboratories, software development, information technology etc. Some students, with meritorious academic records and matching skills, had opted for higher studies in both National and International universities.

Seven batches (2009-2013, 2010-2014 2011-2015, 2012-2016, 2013-2017, 2014-2018, 2015-2019).
What is the placement status of the students passing out from Auto Engineering branch?
About 70% of the interested and eligible students got placement in industries that visited campus viz JBM, Krishna Maruti, IRTE, Sonalika Tractors, Sharda Motors, Gulati Auto and Robo components. 15 to 20 percent students opt for higher studies in foreign universities of countries such as Germany, USA, Australia, Italy etc. Few students have started their own enterprise in the auto sector.
How much salary is a student normally offered after graduating?
Starting range is from 2.5 LPA to 5 LPA.

Automobile-its parts, its working, engines, drivelines, differential, wheels and tyres, gearboxes, Steering system, A.B.S, braking system, wiring, Lighting System, Center locking system, E.G.R, Fuels and lubricants, solar usage, Automobile chassis design, Mechatronics, Pollution and control, Heating Cooling in vehicles, Computer aided vehicle design and Emerging automotive technologies. In the programme along with the technical courses emphasis is also given on Aptitude and Personality development, Holistic wellness and foreign languages.
