Indian Oil Startup Scheme (IOSUS) Funded Project Faculty members and research scholar from Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, MRIIRS have been awarded funds of Rs. 172 lacs under IndianOil Startup Scheme (IOSUS), a “Start-up India” initiative announced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The scheme aims to support innovative ideas that have significant business potential, social relevance and/or are focused on environment-protection.
Project Funded by DST, Faridabad under District Innovation Fund (DIF) The project entitled ‘Establishment of quality seed (spawn) production unit for diversification of mushroom cultivation in district Faridabad’, funded by DST, Faridabad under District Innovation Fund (DIF) for Rs. 4.92 Lacs was accomplished in the year 2014-15. The aim of the project was to innovate the traditional / conventional mushroom cultivation with introduction of diversification and to provide genetically pure lines will help the farmers, entrepreneurs and home growers to not only diversify but also adopt varieties which can be grown all the year round.
