About Us – Department of Public Health Dentistry
The department of Public Health Dentistry was created in April 2008. It has created a landmark history in various outreach and public health programs. The department has been actively involved in more than 400 outreach oral health screening and treatment camps to benefit the needy in remote parts of Faridabad and NCR since its inception.
The department has following sections:
A state of the art Record keeping section in the department which also maintains all the pre- and post treatment records.
Preventive dentistry section where the individuals are provided preventive dental treatment including Fluoride application, ART, Pit and Fissure Sealants, etc.
Section dedicated to oral health awareness.
Tobacco counseling area.
Satellite clinic: At Sidhata Ashram sector 43, Faridabad fully equipped to manage various dental procedures.

The mission of Department of Public Health Dentistry is to provide leadership and excellence in the field of dental health promotion and dental public health. A fundamental component of department’s mission is to provide excellence in teaching at undergraduate school level. Departmental teaching will focus on presentation of foundation knowledge and practical application to the practice of dentistry. In addition, the department was created and constituted to undertake and achieve major scholarly activities and community activities pertaining to Public Health Dentistry, and thus to provide national leadership for, and contributions to, the fields of epidemiology, health promotion and public health.
