Career Development Centre (CDC) is the training arm of the Manav Rachna University, with a vision of nurturing young minds of today into humanistic and futuristic global citizens. Team CDC comprises highly skilled, motivated and experienced industry leaders who are committed to helping the students in the process of their career enhancement.
Team CDC has a very robust approach to achieve their vision. The learning interventions start right from Day 1 of students’ journey in the campus. CDC has major BIG-4 CDC interventions with the acronym of VAST.

VAST is embedded in the semester training through a pre-defined curriculum, which is delivered across all the faculties of Manav Rachna University. The curriculum is designed taking into account the most modern student-centred adult learning pedagogy and industry specific requirements.
The career journey of the students is tracked right from early semesters through an initiative called advancement program, where the students’ interest and career roadmap are assessed and the training interventions are customized accordingly, be it placements, international education, competitive exams etc. Students, who are unsure of their choice, are met with in person by a team of expert career counselors to map their career journey.
USPs of Career Development Centre
Placement Preparatory and Company Specific Crash Courses are conducted at regular intervals to ensure that the student’s final year is all set to ace the placement drives. Through mock interviews, students are given in-depth training on different aspects of the interview, like the correct resume format, impactful self-introductions, appropriate grooming attire for an interview, etc.
Employability Helpdesk has been set up so that students can get career and placement-related assistance anytime.
Company Specific Employability Guide is shared regularly before every placement drive.
Employability Enhancement through Assessment Partnership AMCAT (SHL) is done to evaluate job readiness and performance potentials of the students.
