Embedded System and VLSI Design Lab
The lab focuses on design of microcontroller based embedded systems, interfacing from both a hardware and software perspective and applications including audio, data acquisition, and communication systems and their prototypes.
Also, during the curriculum students are trained on all the aspects of complete VLSI design flow starting from HDL languages leading to physical design of integrated circuits through different software and hardware facilities.
Major equipment of the lab include Universal Microcontroller motherboard with daughter cards such as 8051, PIC, ARM, Arduino etc. and their interfacing circuitries, FPGA kits, LPC Development board in addition to the software like Xilinx, Tanner etc.
