The on hand training wherein students of 2nd semester worked on the Machine tools in the workshop, work on the drafting software on the computer, and enhance their aptitude and other skills started on 11th June ’14. Catching them young seemed to be the motto of the institute. Institute offers compulsory summer training to the students. As an engineering student, training helps to acquire latest skills and to implement the concepts learnt in classes. Training provides chance to students to work more with their own hands, so it develops confidence, clears the concepts, and get new ideas of their fields.

The institute exhorts the students to stretch the boundaries of their imagination and innovate. The students are actually prompted to make components of metal, acrylic, and wood in the workshop. The 10 days training was over on 21st June ’14. The students also undergo training for 4 weeks during 4th and 6th Semesters. The preferences and priorities of the students are sought for and a suitable training schedule is drafted and put into practice. The program coverd training on core areas, communication skills, presentation skills, practical hands on working on various projects.
