Ans. B. Sc (H) Physics- 3 year full-time regular course (six semesters)

Q2. What are the eligibility criteria?

Ans. Candidate having passed 10+2 examination from any recognized Board with 50% or more marks in aggregate of three Science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with English.

Q3. For entrance exams is there any prescribed syllabus for students?

Ans. It is entirely based on 10+2 level of Physics.

Q5.   What kind of subjects will I be studying in B.Sc. (H) Physics?

Ans. As per UGC norms and the elective subject offered by the department.

Q6. What are the further study options after completing B.Sc.?

Ans. After passing B.Sc., student can pursue M.Sc. in different specialized branches to enhance their interest areas and skills.

Ans. MRU has on campus and off campus hostel facilities for both boys and girls.

Ans. MRU is situated at the picturesque Aravalli Hills area of Faridabad which is well connected by road and nearby Delhi Metro station is about 5 kms from the campus. MRU has its own strong fleet of 40 buses which ply all over NCR. Moreover, bus facility from Haryana transport is also available.

Q12. How this course is different from courses offered by Delhi University and others?

Ans. Tie ups with various international universities for student exchange program. Large number of electives are provided to update the knowledge of Physics among students. Updated course syllabus.

Q15. Does the fee structure include course material and books provided by the University?

Ans. Facility of e- library and the course material is uploaded on the intranet.

Q16. Apart from course fees what are the charges for the practical?

Ans. There is no any charge.

Q17. Does the course follow semester or annual system?

Ans. Semester system.

Q18. What is the structure of the programme?

Ans. The B.Sc. programme is designed to provide basic and updated knowledge of physics and its applications in different frontier areas. All the programs give hands on practical experience and training by various practical classes, The students are also trained to develop multidisciplinary approach by carrying a research project.

Q19.What are the teaching-learning approaches used?

Ans. The B.Sc. program utilizes a combination of teaching and learning approaches which include lectures, tutorials, practical classes, seminars, problem-based learning, field visits, group/individual assignments, and development of communication skills. Students are required to undertake research projects in the final year of the program. With this knowledge and skills, the students are able to work in their future effectively in different domains of physics.

Q20. Who are the teaching staffs?

Ans. The department has well-qualified, experienced teaching staff. There are two professors, two associate professor and five assistant professors. They are also actively involved in research and have published extensively in different areas of physics.

Q21. Does the course include any Soft Skills / Personality Development training?

Ans. Soft Skills and Personality Development session are integral part of the curriculum. Manav Rachna University offers special subjects on communication skill and personality development along with foreign languages (French, German, Spanish & Arabic) soft courses.

Q22. Besides M.Sc. Physics what other post-graduation courses can be done after B.Sc.?

Ans. Students have a lot of carrier options for higher studies after B.Sc. they can opt. MBA, M.Com, and MCA amongst other disciplines.

Q23. Are the students eligible for Civil services or other national exams after completing B.Sc. from Manav Rachna University?

Q24. extra-curricular activities are available in the university?

Ans. MRU campus has adequate facilities for sports and cultural activities. There are cultural and hobby clubs including band/orchestra in various institutions. The students regularly participate in Intra College and inter college sports & cultural activities and have won numerous prizes.

Q26. Is it mandatory for the parents to come along with the candidate for the admission?

Ans. It is not mandatory for parents to attend the counseling. It is left to the parents to decide about this.

Q27. I need to speak to an adviser but I don’t know which course to choose.

Q28. What is the mode of payment of fees?

Q29. Does MRU arrange Educational loan through banks?

Ans. Educational loans are provided by all Nationalized Banks. And the individual student has to approach the Bank of his/her choice.

Q30. Loan facility is available to all the candidates or only to the candidates who belong to NCR?

Ans. No, loan facility is available for students all over India subject to fulfillment of conditions stipulated by the bank extending the education loan.

Q31. How many working days in a week does MRU work?

Ans. The regular curriculum classes are held from Monday to Friday.

Q32. What kind of grooming programs are offered to the students?

Ans. We organize Personality Development classes conducted by Corporate Trainers, helping students to develop Soft Skills, Career Exploration, Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, Presentation Skills, and Team Building Skills etc.

Q33.  What is the strength of teaching learning process at MRU?

Ans. 

I Use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching learning process:
