Towards the successful journey Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) have been playing a pivotal role in the area of business management. Department of UG Management Studies is one of the two departments under the Faculty of Management Studies offering undergraduate programs in the area of management.
Our programs are designed for making our students march ahead for sustainable development i.e, inclusion of Economic, Social and Environmental factors in their journey to excellence.

As faculty of management studies, we faculty feel joy and cherish the bonding with the students while they participate in class activities and later when they contribute as alumni of the department. Experienced faculty member with rich experience in academics, research and industry contribute in class by bringing real life experience for the benefit of the students in the class. At our department we follow pedagogy for disseminating the knowledge and do so we create activity based learning environment to develop academic as well as social skills desired form a manager. As we have Business Lab we make our participant practice the real life situation with the help of case studies, role plays, management games, presentations etc.
The curriculum is vetted by the industry veterans to bridge the industry academia gap. Our faculty regularly keeps on updating curriculum with reference and relevance to the industry. Our Board of Studies had been able to attract the best of the inputs from industry to abreast with the latest demands of the industry. As need be we keep on having tie-ups with the industry pioneers to offer programs of the future.
At class level we ensure strongly on student participation with the help of case studies, guest lectures by industry experts and alumni. Professional modules have been integrated into the curriculum to make the students understand the real world of business and enhance their employability. Stock market training programmes are conducted by the BSE Institute in the department under which the students get a unique opportunity to understand real stock market operations. Digital marketing specialization in collaboration with upGrad, a highly professional body, infuses zeal and enthusiasm amongst students to excel in digital world of business. Latest software packages are used in the labs to provide the students real-life exposure.
Personal grooming and development with the department and experts from the Corporate Relationship Cell enable the students in understanding their self and their being industry ready. Enrichment Lecture Series Programme (ELSP) is an initiative of the department to exposes the students through a series of lectures by different experts, based on current issues and areas of inter-disciplinary interest so as to widen their horizon and vista of thinking. This strengthens their critical thinking and improves general awareness which help them in their career progression.
Apart from academics our students are pioneer in national and international sports and bring laurels to the nation. Our university had all the equipments and environment to promote sports like shooting, badminton, table tennis, cricket, volleyball, etc.
Our programs provide an environment to nurture and promote entrepreneurship. With the incubation center available at university level our students are able to work in creating their own ventures and getting funded in the initial years of their journey. All students are given an opportunity to study a contemporary course on Entrepreneurship Development so as to enable them to develop their own start-up enterprises. Also the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are being launched now to help the students learn a few courses at their own pace and convenience.

Reputed companies and MNCs regularly visit the campus to interview the students. The graduates are chosen by MNCs and business houses in the areas of Manufacturing, Export/Import, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Marketing and other allied fields.
All the programmes are comprehensive and are complemented with extensive classroom teaching & practical assignments based on industry requirements.
