7.0 to 7.9 Level 6 – Into second semester of second year Students in this category are generally competent but will be lacking aspects of fundamental design and particularly mathematical knowledge. This will be a 2+2.5 articulation (240 points in MRIIRS and 240 points at AUT)
6.0 to 6.9 Level 6 – articulation into the start of second year Students in this category are generally competent but will be require substantial additional content to bring the candidates up to speed. This will be a 2+3 articulation arrangement. (240 points in MRIIRS and 360 points at AUT)
< 6.0 Not recommended

Q6. Does the Department have Industry- Academia Collaborations?

To bridge the gap between industry expectations and students’ skill endowments, the department has signed MoU with the following companies-

  • ITI Limited
  • Cosmo Infrasolutions
  • S K Builders

The purpose of MoU is to have mutual intentions to jointly work on projects required for industries and research needs, exchange of academic content course information, conducting seminars and conferences, industrial visits, consultancy and placements.

Q7. How does UG specialization in “Smart Cities” benefit the students.

Smart buildings, zero energy buildings, smart water systems, and smart electricity grids, waste management protocols, will all be part of the future connected cities, in addition to mobility solutions. As a result, engineering education must broaden to encompass infrastructure, environmental knowledge, technology, sensors, and data science. The Manav Rachna Smart Cities focus provides one with just that, guiding one through a customized curriculum, hands on training and interactive industrial experiences outside of the classroom.

Q8. What is the future potental for UG specialization in “Green Technology and Sustainability Engineering”?
