Molecular Biosciences Research lab has been established with state of art facilities for research in allied areas. The team working in this lab is named as Molecular Biosciences Research Cluster (MBRC). This laboratory houses advanced Molecular Biology and Animal Tissue Culture Research facility. This lab has state of art facilities in the domain. The members of MBRC are highly motivated individuals with a vision of research in the frontier areas of Biotechnology. The members belong to diverse areas of specialization and are continuously working to develop a skilled student team for research activities. The major activities of cluster are-
1. Establishment and equipping the research lab for advanced research facilities.
2. Training of students and faculty in advanced areas of Biotechnology.
3. To engage in collaborative projects with industry and academia.
4. To groom students for different national and international technical competitions. - Environment Biotechnology Research Lab
The Laboratory houses equipment facility like Atomic absorption spectrophotometer, flame photometer, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, incubator, muffle furnace etc. for soil testing, water testing, pollutant analysis and elemental analysis. This lab is meant for advance experiments in curricula of B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech final year projects and research in different areas of Environment Biotechnology. - Plant tissue culture lab
It is a teaching cum research laboratory dedicated only for plant tissue culture as any experimental work in this domain requires stringent aseptic conditions. All research work pertaining to B.Tech projects, students’ research and faculty research is carried out in this lab.
