Training

The students in their last year have to undergo six months training from Industry or research organizations. This has been included in their curriculum to make them aware about the industrial requirement and make them industry ready graduates. This exposure is an eye opener for few of the students who have undergone this training from research institute of national and international repute. It has been seen that there is a huge boost in the self-confidence of students after this 6 months training.

The students are also made aware about various summer training programmes called by agencies like Indian Academy of Sciences, IISc., AcSIR. The faculties help students to prepare Statement of Purpose (SoP) for these summer training programmes. Students are recommended by the department for summer trainings from highly reputed research organizations like-DIPAS, ACBR, IIT Guwahati etc. List of institutes and industries where our students have undertaken their training are :
