Molecular Biology Lab
The lab is offered to both UG and PG students. This lab deals with various molecular techniques like isolation and purification of DNA from various sources(bacteria, plants, yeast), isolation of plasmid DNA, amplification of DNA, Restriction mapping of amplified product, gel elusion, cloning etc.
Equipments:
For this, the lab is well equipped with various equipments like thermal cycler, Gel documentation system, microfuge electrophoresis units, vortex mixer, Laminar air flow chamber, water bath etc. The lab is in continuous usage by students to carry out various projects.

- Non ketotic hyper glycinemia studies in Indian population.
