Brief Profile: Dr. Anita Rastogi is a Professor in the Department of Educational Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia since 2009. Prior to joining Jamia Millia Islamia in 1995, she had served as Lecturer in Directorate of Distance Education, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (Haryana), and in District Institute of Education and Training, Delhi till 1995 and thus has the rich experience of working in Central, State and District level teacher education Institutions. She holds a Doctorate Degree in the area of ‘Teacher Education and Distance Education and a Masters Degree in Bio-Sciences and Education both with I class. She was conferred University Medal in M.Ed. by the University of Delhi for being the best candidate in the University in M.Ed. (full time) Examination for the year 1984- 85. She was also awarded for her meritorious and distinguished services in the field of teacher education by the Indian Association of Teacher Educators in 2014 and was selected for Bharat Vikas Award by the Institute of Self Reliance, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 

Dr. D.N. Sansanwal

Dr. D.N. Sansanwal retired as Head and Dean, Faculty of Education, Devi Ahilya University, Indore. He holds M.Sc. (Physics) and Ph.D. (Education) degrees. The areas of his specializations are Research Methodology, Experimental Design, Advanced Educational Statistics, Educational Measurement and Evaluation, Education Technology, Science Education, and Information and Communication Technology. He invented Jerk Technology, Multiple Discriminatory Type Item, Multiple Answers Type Item, Moral Discussion Model and Educational Clinic. He was visiting Professor in CASE, M.S. University, Baroda from 25 December 1985 to 24 January 1986; Department of Education, Saurashtra University, Rajkot from 7-26 March 1988; Department of Education, NEHU, Tura from 15 – 31 March 2012. He has foreign assignment in River State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria from 1982 to 84, & King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Thonburi, Bangkok from 1 March to 28 May 1987. He taught Business Research Methods and Quantitative Techniques in IIM, Indore from 2004 to 2008. He also taught Business Research Methods in Indian Institutes of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi. He visited Foreign Universities in Britain, West Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Canada, Nigeria, Thailand, China, Malaysia, USA, etc. He has published extensively both in Indian and Foreign Journals of repute. After retirement, he has conducted 192 workshops of seven to fifteen days on Research Methodology, Statistics and use of SPSS all over India. He has given One Thousand Five Hundred & seventy-two Webinar Lectures each of Two to Three Hours on different topics including Research Methodology, Statistics and use of SPSS. He was Chairman of Northern Regional Committee of NCTE from 2008 to 2010. Dr. Sansanwal was given best TEACHER EDUCATOR AWARD by ALL INDIA ASSOCIATION OF TEACHER EDUCATORS, India as well as by RESEARCH INDIA FOUNDATION, Lifetime Achievement Award for Continuous Excellence in Teaching, Research, and Administration (2022).

 

 

Prof. Dasyam. Venkateshwarlu

Brief Profile: Prof. DasyamVenkateshwarlu has served conventional universities for more than 15 years and joined IGNOU in the year 2011. He holds a master’s degree in Science and Education. From the master’s degree in Education, he is working with Children with Special Needs (CWSN). He worked with children with Intellectual Disability for his M. Phil Degree, Centre of Advanced Studies in Education, M.S University of Baroda, and Mathematical Learning Difficulties for his Ph.D. Degree, MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. He secured the second rank in M.Ed., RIE, NCERT, University of Mysore, and qualified UGC (NET). His areas of interest are Special Education, Inclusive Education, and Teaching-Learning Process. 

Prof. Indira Dhull

Professor & Former Dean, Faculty of Education, MDU Rohtak

Brief Profile: Prof. Indira Dhull has served conventional universities for more than 28 years. She holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree in English as well as in Education. She has done Post-Doctoral Research under the Supervision of Prof. Richard Cowan, from Institute of Education. University of London, UK. She has served as Head of the department and Dean Colleges Development Council M.D.U., Rohtak; Former Dean Academic Affairs and Dean Students Welfare State University of Perfoming n Visual Arts Rohtak

She has published 5 books and 105 research papers/articles and guided 42 Ph.D. Students as well as 105 M.Phill. students so far. She has been awarded Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship (1995-96), Institute of Education, University of London, London (UK) and Best Paper Award in International Conference at San Francisco , USA. Her areas of Interest are Psycosocial Foundation of Education, Special Education, Educational Technology, Educational Research and Value Education.

Prof. Rainu Gupta

Professor &Former Dean, School of Education, Sharda University

Brief Profile: Prof. Rainu Gupta has served conventional universities and Colleges for more than 33 years. She holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree in Education & Economics. She has specialization in Philosophy & Sociology; Inclusive Education; Educational Research &Stactics; Educational Measurement & Evaluation; Pedagogy of Social Science & Economics. She has also served as a Principal Hindu College of Education, Sonipat.

She has published twenty-one books; thirty-two research papers &articals; five university notes; two book reviews and guided 14 Ph.D. Students as well as 150 M.Ed students so far.

She is actively involved in the field of education and handeled major assignments such as: Contributed towards Curriculum framing of Secondary Education of Kota University; Attended 2 workshops at NCERT, New Delhi as an expert to construct the questionnaires for the assessment of the implementation of SSA and preparing its report; Delivered extension lectures on various aspects of teacher education in different colleges and universities; Presented papers in National and International Seminars conducted by various colleges as Resource Person; Paper setter and evaluator of different universities; Conducted the admission process of B.Ed of Agra University as Co-ordinator; Conducted workshops, seminars, conferences sponsored by UGC, New Delhi, Director Higher Education, Haryana, NAAC, Bangalore; Contributed in curriculum framing of M.A Education and Ph.D Course work of Dept of Education, JamiaMiliaIslamia University, New Delhi; Ph.D. theses evaluator of different universities; Chief Suptt. Of Examination; Delivered online video lectures for NIOS; Delivered online lectures as resource person in webinars organized by different institutions during COVID 19 period.
