Thus, measurement and analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) is progressively gaining attention as it enables a clinical and non-invasive system to assess human physiology and is an important indicator for cardiac disease. QRS complex of an ECG forms the basis of HRV, but literature also establishes its relation with carotid artery pulsation. As Carotid pulsation is easy to acquire using simple electronics it can be potentially used for HRV analysis compared to ECG acquisition. HRV analysis is either simulated or done off-line using ECG data base only. It is proposed to develop a robust computer based dual channel acquisition system for online detection and analysis of HRV in time and frequency domain from real time simultaneously acquired ECG and carotid waveforms of human subjects. The measurement unit developed shall be simple, relatively cost effective and therefore can be of use for home health care.YES

2.01611E+1124.11.2016Utility India2016 Biogas Digester working under anaerobic conditions is one of the ways of producing biogas which is a clean source of energy because of them ethane gas in its composition which burns completely with a blue flame leaving no harmful gases to destroy the environment. Unlike villages the raw material in city employed digesters is the organic fraction of kitchen waste. The number of biogas digesters installed is higher in Indian villages because of space availability and feed material i.e. cow dung. Kitchen waste has been lately accepted as a high calorie feed material for biogas production especially by Appropriate Rural Technology Institute (ARTI) because of its high nutritional value which raises the efficiency of biogas digesters operating on them as feedstock by 800 times than that of the conventional gobar gas plant. Looking at the space constraints in cities reduction in digester dimensions is a welcome change. A design has been developed to miniaturize the biogas digester for wider applicability in towns and cities by eliminating unnecessary space wastage in existing designs and designing a mixing method that will provide complete mixing of digester contents to boast biogas production, releasing trapped biogas within the digester as well as providing it with the value addition feature of mobility so that the digester can be moved from say shady part to sunny part as per the direction of the sun or can be easily transferred from one location to another without emptying it in case one shifts his premises.YES

Sound is a mechanical form of energy which travels in the form of mechanical wave. Piezo materials convert mechanical strain into electric energy. This property of piezo materialsis used to make a device which would be able to convert the sound energy to electric energy. YES

To increase visibility, it is important to remove fog from highways, railway tracks, Runways. Microwaves are perfect to eliminate fog. Water molecules absorbs good amount of microwaves. The absorbed microwave vibrates water molecules at a high frequency and increases temperature. Increased temperature causes evaporation of tiny water droplets and hence fog eliminates. This process doesn’t take much time hence is very effective for fog removal.  YES

However, there was shopping cart abandoned everywhere in the supermarket after being used. In addition, there were also shopping trolley safety issues such as sliding down from an escalator. On the other hand, it is inconvenient for customers specially elder persons who needs to physically pull the cart everywhere and stand in long queues for the billing and final checkouts. Therefore, an automatic human following shopping cart with a smart shopping system can be developed to solve the problems. The proposed shopping cart is equipped with ultrasonic sensor for obstacle avoidance. A portable robot can be installed under the trolley to lead the users to items’ location that they plan to purchase in the supermarket. A wearable band is developed with compact circuitry inside having a GPS module installed in it which can provide real time location data of person wearing band in terms of longitude & latitude which can further be transmitted to self tracking robot structure via Bluetooth module. A server is also developed as the database system to store products in a supermarket. In conclusion, users can enjoy shopping and pay more attention on their children during shopping without the need of pushing the shopping trolley. Besides, they can track the purchased items easily. Meanwhile, supermarket owners can save cost from hiring trolley collector.YES

This needs a system to indicate the wastage of water and thus closing the tap automatically if it is left open. This needs a sensor for sensing if the water is overflowing the bucket. In case, the sensor senses the wastage of water, it initiates a system to close the tap. If the system fails to close the tap then it sends a message to the owner that there is a problem in closing the tap so that necessary action may be taken. Also, it indicates a signal to the users not to put in the waste by displaying a message. If the bin is not emptied in time then it sends a message to higher authorities regarding the issue.YES

Rather, they are easily and automatically adjusted by the optically unskilled user. They are a separate entity from prescription eye glasses. Glasses may be worn either with or without prescription glasses. No modifications are required to the prescription glasses. Here the user (A) has to wear glasses consist of two LCD (3×2 inch). The adaptation to prescription glasses is accomplished by the user who simply shapes a single mechanical coupler to hook over the nose bridge of the prescription glasses causing it to be of the correct length to position the lower edge of the narrow linear gradient filter to coincide approximately with the plane of the driver’s horizontal-line-of-sight. All of the actions may be executed by the user in a time period that approaches the time of a blink of eyes, 2 LCD each which are mountable on headlight of the car/ any vehicle of user A and B. Deficiency in vitamin D due to working longer hours in more sedentary jobs as well as spending more leisure time indoors, which is produced naturally by the body through exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, which can put them  at greater risk of reproductive problems, poor muscle function and the brittle bone disease osteoporosis.
This is an incorrect assumption that vitamin D supplements will protect you against diseases associated with low vitamin D, according to Australian researchers. The report found that vitamin D supplements are immunosuppressive and may actually make diseases worse. So, the best way to get the right amount of vitamin D is to spend some time in the sun and the same requirement can’t be fulfilled easily due to busy life schedule. Over-exposure to sunlight can increase the risk of skin cancer, skin aging, immune suppression and eye damage. But under-exposure to sunlight can lead to vitamin D deficiency — a major risk factor for bone diseases, diabetes, depression, some common cancers and cardiovascular diseases According to this invention a smart wearable device will be generated that can be worn indoors to  overcome the deficiency of Vitamin D without being at the risk of over exposure to sunlight.

The spectrum utilization survey shows that entire spectrum is not used many times. Because of this the radio spectrum is underutilized. This underutilization can be minimized by using Cognitive radio (CR).The concept of cognitive radio is proposed to address the issue of spectrum efficiency and has been receiving an increasing attention in recent years, since it equips wireless users. The capability to optimally adapt their operating parameters according to the interactions with the surrounding radio environment is of utmost importance. In order to address these challenges, each CR user in the CR network must:
• Determine, which portions of the spectrum are available
• Select the best available channel
• Vacate the channel when a licensed user is detected.
These capabilities can be realized through spectrum management functions that addresses four main challenges: spectrum sensing, spectrum decision, spectrum sharing, and spectrum mobility.
 In the proposed invention various design parameters of the Spectrum sensing will be implemented using various machine learning algorithms such as genetic algorithm and its variants in MATLAB environment. In this work multiple parameter adjustment technique based on genetic algorithm will be used to optimize bandwidth, band efficiency, transmission power, data rate and Bit error rate. The main focus will be to design the  CR spectrum sensing technique and  optimize the energy efficiency and channel allocation. The simulation and analysis of OFDM based Cognitive Radio Networks will be done to reuse the unused spectrum to increase the total system capacity and throughput.

Established by the Government of India under Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution and managed jointly with state governments in India, it distributes subsidized food and non-food items to India’s poor. Major commodities distributed include staple food grains, such as wheat, rice, sugar, and kerosene, through a network of public distribution shops (also known as ration shops) established in several states across the country. This project aims to provide un-adultered commodity as well as green environment by using solar panel. The dispenser is stationed at any commercial or a remote location which can be the urban or a rural area. While in idle state the system shows the glowing of a particular LED which indicates that solar panel is in the optimal state and is performing appropriately. To explain further the design implementation, there are two containers or technical dispensers. In the first dispenser, there shall be prefilled amount of a particular commodity. When the system gets command from the user for the particular amount of commodity, then that amount of commodity is transferred to another dispenser.YES
