Lock Out Tag Out Device (LOTO): It has unique features that can minimize the risk of electrical shocks in Industries- short circuit detection, real time data logging on the cloud, real time intimation to the authorities, automatic locking of the MCB Panel door, Data analytics and fault prediction. A mobile phone application has also been designed to operate/ reconfigure the device and for performing analysis of data in real time.

IIT Guwahati Robotics Championship Escalade 2017: The Contest was based on designing a pick and place robot and an autonomous maze solver robot. In prelims the team of 3rd year ECE students completed the task in 1.49 seconds and bagged 2nd position and in the mains they were able to score 62 points and stood third in the rankings.
