Spectacular Performance in 8th Manav Rachna Girls Sports Meet
Ms. Rashmi, a student of B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics 4th semester has brought laurels by her spectacular performance in 8th Manav Rachna Girls Sports Meet 2020 held recently.
She scored:
- 1st position in Badminton
- 1st position in Relay Race
- 1st position in Balloon Race
- 1st position in Tug of war
- 2nd position in Basketball

Prize Holders at Omicron 2019
Ms. Geetika and Mr. Sourav Rawat (B.Sc. Hons Mathematics 5th semester), Manav Rachna University bagged 1st position in the Shape Chase.
Ms. Harshita Gautam and Ms. Bhavya of B.Sc. (H) Mathematics 3rd semester, Manav Rachna University bagged 2nd position in the Paper Presentation. Students were awarded with certificates and cash prizes.
KAVI SAMELAN
Manav Rachna University in association with Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad organized a Kavi Samelan in the campus on 23rd February, 2017 to celebrate the MATRIBHASHA DIWAS in order to appreciate poetry. Dr. Harsharan Verma, a senior writer and researcher was the chief guest for the event. Amongst the team of extremely talented poets was Mr. Balmohan, a student of BSc.(H) Math. He shared the stage with Yashdeep Kaushik, Kuldeep Singh ‘Brajwasi’ and Ajay Agyat. With their verses, couplets and poems, they had the audience in splits.
Slogan Writing Competition at Transcendence
Manav Rachna centre of Foreign languages organized Transcendence- a mosaic of global harmony to solemnize United Nation’s message for world peace. It aimed at contributing to the global community by enhancing consciousness and sensitivity about cultural diversity and heritage in the society. It began with a Solidarity march in which around 600 students joined in the March at the campus propagating the message of peace. Students’ slogans which were displayed during the March with the best ones garniering prizes.
In this, students of Department of Mathematics, MRU bagged the Third position in slogan writing competition. The slogan towards the message of world peace was ‘Creating peace by adding the squares of love, care and happiness’. It was a great encouragement and achievement for the students to have made a mark amongst more than 500 students participating.
Haryana State Power Lifting Boys & Girls Bench Press Championship 2019
Power Lifting Association (affiliated with Power Lifting India Federation), Haryana organized ‘Haryana State Power Lifting Boys & Girls Bench Press Championship 2019’ at Faridabad on Nov 2 and 3, 2019.
Mukesh of B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics 5th semester, Manav Rachna University, secured 2nd Place in the 83 kg weight class to the Haryana State Sub. Junior Master (Boys & Girls) Bench Press Championship.
He was awarded a certificate and medal. Manav Rachna wishes him for all his future endeavors.
Ms. Geetika Wadhwa, BSc. (Hons.) student, won 2nd Prize in SUDOKU competition, held at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi on21st February,2019
Ms. Rashmi, BSc. (Hons.) won 1st prize in Relay Race, 1st prize in 100m race, at University Level, 2019.
Ms.Rashmi, BSc. (Hons.) won 1st prize in Open District and State Badminton Championship,KHEL MAHAKUMBH CHAMPIONSHIP, 2019.
The students of M.Sc. Mathematics, under the mentorship of Dr. Ruchi Gupta attended an International Conference on Modeling Optimization and Computing for Engineering Problems from 12-14 October 2018 at IIT , Roorkee.
Ms Chhavi Baliyan, B.Sc. (Hons.) student, attended a 4-week Summer Training Program at University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, 2017.
Mr. Rizvan, M.Sc. Mathematics student,presented a research paper on “MHD Viscous Viscoelastic Fluid through Magnetic Field” in an International Conference on Mathematics and Applications held from 26th -28th April 2017, at Ramjas College, University of Delhi.
Ms. Sakshi, BSc. (Hons.) won 1st prize in GRAFITTI Competition at University Level held on 1st& 2nd February,2017.
A team of students of B.Sc. (Hons.) won 3rd prize in SLOGAN WRITING competition at TRANSCENDENCE on 28th February, 2017.
