Laboratories

A well-equipped Research and Instrumentation Lab is available in the department, where faculty members and students carry out their research activities and project work. The department is actively engaged in organizing International Conferences, Workshops and Seminars on contemporary subjects. Faculty and students are encouraged to participate in International and National Conferences/ Workshops and present their research findings and exchange & update their knowledge.

The department strives to foster a culture of learning and research through rigorous hands on and lab sessions. The state-of-the-art labs like CNR Rao Research and Experimentation Centre & Research and Instrumentation Lab in the department provide excellent facilities for faculty members and UG/PG students to carry out research activities and project work. The department is actively engaged in organizing Workshops, Educational Courses and International Conferences, on the contemporary subjects to translate classroom learning in to practice. Faculty members and students are encouraged to participate in International and National Conferences/Workshops and present their research findings and exchange & update their knowledge. To impart knowledge about the new and emerging technologies, the department conducts invited talks and seminars byrenowned and experienced speakers from various industries and academic institutes.

It has academic and industrial collaborations with various R&D Centres and reputed universities, such as University of York, U.K.; Delhi University; IIT Delhi and Indian Oil R&D, to name a few. The department offers training opportunities to its students at various Industries/Organizations to develop their analytical skills.
