M.A.- Public Policy and Public Administration – MRIIRS

The postgraduate programme in Public Administration and Public Policy is designed for a comprehensive and detailed study of Governance, Administration, Management and Policy related issues as a discipline at advanced level of study. It includes the study of various classical and contemporary administrative theories, bureaucracy, ecological conservation, feminism, good governance, public management, development and administration, gender and politics, decentralization, various types of budgeting, public delivery services, public grievances and issues of many public policy concerns. The course offers specialization in Human Relations theory, governance and development, rural and urban studies with major focus on government policies of poverty alleviation, citizen centric issues like Right to Information Act, Citizens’ Charter, Lokpal, E-Governance and other Social Welfare programmes.

The department has distinguished faculty members with a well equipped library with the latest edition books, magazines and international and national journals. The department is located in a state of the art building with modern infrastructure and technology.
