About Library

Swami Vivekananda Library and Resource Centre specifically caters to the students, faculty and staff of Manav Rachna University (MRU). MRU Library in its network has RC Lahoti Memorial Law Library, the Faculty of Education Library and Dr. O. P. Bhalla Learning Lounge. The Library offers a user-friendly air-conditioned environment with a fully computerized open-access system. The library has an excellent collection of about 49255 Volumes and 11323 Titles in the different areas of engineering, applied science, management, education and law and others.

The resources subscribed by the library are a range of National and International Journals, Magazines, Periodicals, Newspapers etc and include ACM Digital Library, ASME, J-Gate- Science & Technology, J-Gate- Social Science and Humanities, LexisNexis, SCC Online, Institutional Membership of DELNET (Developing Library Network) e- Books and Knimbus- e-Library Platform, Remote Access, Federated Search. All resources cover a variety of National /International Journals and books from reputed publishers. Library resources are available at a single click, 24×7 within the campus and beyond the campus through remote access mechanism providing unhindered access to its range of resources.

The Swami Vivekananda Library and Resource Centre is an automated library integrated with open-source LMS i.e. KOHA to provide computerized services to Manav Rachna University academic community at large.
