“Regulating Digital Markets: The Ex-Ante Way”
A Workshop was held on 29th April, 2024 in the I Block Auditorium on the topic “Regulating Digital Markets: The Ex-Ante Way”. This workshop was organized by the School of Law, Manav Rachna University in collaboration with CUTS Institute for Regulation and Competition. The event was aimed at providing valuable insights into the effects of digital market regulations on user interface experiences, contributing to the existing body of knowledge in this field. The focus of the discussion was on the emerging concept of ex-ante regulation within the digital market in India. In the workshop, the resource person presented the impact of Digital Competition Bill, 2024 on the Indian companies (PayTM, MyJio and MMT) through visual representations and thereafter a questionnaire was circulated (google form) to the participants assessing their perspective on the issues that were discussed in the workshop.
