A Training Workshop for Academic Audit: Guidelines & Outcomes Targeted organized by
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
On August 10th, 2023, a training workshop on Academic Audit was conducted for departmental
auditors. Led by Dr. Meena Kapahi and Dr. Deepa Arora from IQAC, the workshop aimed to
equip faculty with the necessary skills for effective academic audits. Dr. Kapahi provided an
overview of academic audit’s purpose and significance, focusing on regulations and
accreditation standards. The session emphasized audit planning, techniques, and
methodologies.
Following this, Dr. Arora detailed the audit format, essential documents, and steps to maintain
academic quality. Participants gained practical insights into audit planning, data analysis, and
reporting, fostering collaboration among them. The workshop enhanced their understanding of
academic audits, enabling smoother future audit processes. The workshop was attended by 20
faculty members from the university.
