The Faculty of Behavioural and Social Science (FBSS) aims to generate groomed learners through carefully designed unique techniques and reorient their attitude to make them competent in terms of learning employment and entrepreneurship.
We are guided by the core values of academic independence, open mindedness, experimentation, creativity, invention, dependability, optimism, resilience, and service to others.
FBSS places a greater emphasis on what we refer to as “Doing” or abilities, as well as “Being” or a sense of purpose and identity, rather than simply “Knowing” or analytical knowledge. We encourage students to set a positive example by engaging effectively with themes such as mental health and well-being, democracy, urbanisation, technological change, economic empowerment, sustainability, globalisation, inclusion, and diversity. Our educational approach will prioritize humanity and culture, ethics and values, gender neutrality, community service, social duties and responsibilities and collaborative project-based experiential learning at the centre of the educational experience.
We prepare students to comprehend, contribute to, and achieve in a constantly changing society while demonstrating intellect and emotional intelligence, sensitivity and care, to make the world a better place. We also create an environment for our students to expand and enhance their knowledge skill and vision to prepare them into future-ready leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals who can contribute toward a positive and significant change in the society.
