ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF APPLIED SCIENCES

The Department of Applied Sciences is dedicated to excellence in teaching and research. Department has a team of well experienced and highly qualified faculty members who are enthusiastically engaged in cutting-edge research in emerging areas. Faculty members have contributed more than 500 publications in reputed national / international journals / conferences and also authored many books/book chapters.

Department offers Ph.D. programme in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and also supports many programmes of MRIIRS by offering different courses of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and Management with an interdisciplinary focus. Department prepares students for meeting technological challenges faced by the ever-changing world. Designed courses emphasize on different scientific and management domains, spanning global as well as local interests. Lab courses of Physics and Chemistry are fine-tuned to enable students to learn basic laboratory skills, techniques with hands-on experience of modern experiments.

ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

The Department of Civil Engineering, FET, MRIIRS was established in the year 2009 and stands with an excellent reputation. The Department has a blend of highly qualified and experienced faculty members from IITs, NITs, JMI and other Institutes of National repute who endeavor to produce finest engineers, contributing incredibly to the nation. The Department has fully equipped Labs with state-of-the-art equipments in Advanced Structure Lab, Soil Mechanics Lab, Transportation Engineering lab, Concrete Technology lab, Survey Lab, CADD & STADD Pro lab, Fluid Mechanics Lab, Environmental Engineering Lab and Engineering Geology Lab.

The department bridges industry academia interface through regular site visits, expert talks, workshops, and training programs as well as faculty development programs. Students are also encouraged to engage in extracurricular and co-curricular activities, essential for overall development, nurturing of team spirit and developing organizational skills to keep themselves abreast with current developments in the area of Civil Engineering.

ABOUT MES³C

World is facing severe environmental pressure and inconsistency between demand and supply of resources as well as numerous social and economic challenges due to urbanization of the world’s population and ongoing digital transition Consequently, the life of a city-dweller has become tedious. This signifies transferring paradigms in the way cities work in terms of sustainability.This conference will bring together Engineers, Architects, Green Technologists, Environmental and Social Scientists, Computer Engineers, Data Scientists and other stakeholders to deliberate on emerging issues in context with sustainable smart cities and apprise future directions.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

• To promote research and development for a clean and sustainable environment.
• To encourage the research for innovations towards applications in sustainable green buildings, materials and infrastructure.
• To provide an opportunity to integrate various fields for technologically shaping our cities to be safe and sustainable.

• Abstract should be of 150 – 250 words.
