PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) has chosen Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (Mechanical Engineering Department) for organizing “Job Junction” of Northern India Zone in the MRIIRS campus. In the “Job Junction” students of all the colleges / universities of Northern India having ISHRAE membership are invited for appearing in selection for different companies. This event has become an yearly event in MRIIRS for providing jobs to our final year mechanical students.

This year the same was organized from 18th to 20th October, 2016. Students were placed in companies of Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning (HVAC) sector like Blue star, Voltas, Daikin, Hi-Tech, Carigaire Restiflex, Sterling and Wilson, Kiroloskar, Ruskin Titus etc. visited our campus. The salary package varied between 3 lacs to 6 lacs per annum depending on the company.

The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) which looks after the placement activities have a good record of placing Mechanical Engineering students. Our past students have been absorbed in Industry giants like Maruti, JBM, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture and a number of other organizations

University Highlights

QS STAR RATING – MRIIRS has been awarded the prestigious QS Stars rating. The University was rated five stars in teaching, facilities, social responsibility and inclusiveness, becoming the first university from India to receive 5 stars in 4 categories. The QS Stars evaluation is a comprehensive audit which has rated over 275 universities in over 45 countries. This system is also recognized by government agencies as a test of quality for an institution and is considered a gateway to accreditation.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited MRIIRS Faridabad with ‘A’ Grade. This distinction places the University in the premier league of the top-rated universities of the country.

B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Criteria for Preparation of Merit list – Preference Wise:
I – JEE Mains 2018 Score
II – Merit in Uni GAUGE EMeD 2018
III – Marks in qualifying examination

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects and eligibility shall be determined on the basis of percentage of aggregate marks in :
i. English, Physics Mathematics and
ii. One subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology or Biotechnology and
iii. One subject with the highest score out of the remaining subjects.

B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry)

Criteria for Preparation of Merit list – Preference Wise:
I – Merit in MRNAT 2018
II – Merit in Qualifying Examination

Eligibility Criteria

50% marks in Diploma in Engineering in any branch / discipline of 3 year duration, from State Board of Technical education, Haryana or equivalent examination or B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as Defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering in association with JBM

Criteria for Preparation of Merit list – Preference Wise:
I – JEE Mains 2018 Score
II – Merit in Uni GAUGE EMeD 2018
III – Marks in qualifying examination

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 10+2 examination with atleast 65% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects including Physics, Mathematics & English as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subject: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology, Bio Technology and one subject with the highest score out of the remaining subjects

B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering in association with JBM (Lateral Entry)

Criteria for Preparation of Merit list – Preference Wise:
I – Merit in MRNAT 2018
II – Merit in Qualifying Examination

Eligibility Criteria

65% marks in Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/Aeronautical/Production Engg. from State Board of Technical Education Haryana or equivalent.

M.Tech Mechanical Engineering With Specialization In Industrial Engineering

Criteria for Preparation of Merit list – Preference Wise:
I – Merit on the basis of Valid GATE
II – Merit in Qualifying Exam

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 55% Marks or equivalent CGPA in B.Tech. in any discipline
