Report on Case Study Presentation

On 29th March, 2024, the School of management and Commerce in association with Innovation and Entrepreneurship club, under the Pre-Incubation Unit, Manav Rachna University organized “Case Study Presentations”. The event aimed to provide a platform for participants to present the details of their research, findings, and insights on practical applications within their respective fields.

The event started with the unveiling of the book encapsulating the case studies conceived by the students and Edited by Prof (Dr.) Yogita Sharma, in the area of Entrepreneurship in the presence of Ms.Shefali Sangal, Founder, Women with Wings, Ms.Neha, Founder, Women with Wings, Prof (Dr.) Parul Jhajharia, Dean, Faculty of Management and Commerce, Prof (Dr.) Yogita Sharma, Professor, School of Management and Commerce and other faculty.

Background of the Book:

The students created their Business ventures in the Project Based Learning Mode (PBL) in the subject Applied Entrepreneurship, they covered the areas of Team Creation, Problem Identification, Competitor Analysis and Financial Calculations to kick start the venture. Having an understanding of the mentioned areas students were mentored rigorously to take this to the next level. In the next semester in the subject New Age Entrepreneurship, the students were guided to scribble down all the aspects in the form of Case Studies. And hence we were able to get an outcome in the form of an Edited Book with Teaching Notes “Deep Diving: Case Study Illuminating”.

While presenting, the students showcased a diverse array of cases across various sectors. Each team presented a concise synopsis of their case study, highlighting the problem they aim to solve, their proposed solution, and the potential impact of their innovation.

Our students have put their heart and soul into these projects, showcasing their logical reasoning and entrepreneurial skills fostering a culture of innovation within the university. By creating an inclusive platform for BBA-EFB (Entrepreneurship and Family Business) students to showcase their entrepreneurial ideas, the event contributed to the growth of innovative thinking and provided a stepping stone for potential future ventures.
