The orientation programme began with a warm welcome to all the delegates from the Tata Steel by Dean and HOD Management (SMC). The session was delivered by Mr. Jatin Sabharwal & Mr. Sanjay Shukla on 25th October 2023. This event aimed to familiarize the students about Tata Steel, a name synonymous with excellence, innovation, and sustainability, has a rich legacy spanning over a century. Rooted in the heritage of the Tata Group, it has been a pioneer in the steel industry and continues to be a global leader in the field. Students engaged in a lively session through small quiz asked by the resource persons. As a result, curiosity is generated among students about TSIC (Tata Steel Industrial Consulting) courses and embark on a journey of learning and growth.
After the session, a meeting of various HODs and Deans was held with Tata Steel representatives to explore the courses and their potential opportunities in different domains such as engineering and Law. Nevertheless, It was a platform for connect with industry professionals and to foster stronger ties between academia and industry. Finally, a campus tour was organised for the representatives of Tata Steel to showcase Manav Rachna, state-of-the-art infrastructure and highlight the cutting-edge Centre of Excellence (Altair and Daikin), providing a unique opportunity for industry leaders to witness first-hand the innovative learning environment Manav Rachna provide to its students
