An educational trip was organised by School of Education and Humanities, Manav Rachna University for the students of Integrated B.Sc.B. Ed program on 15th February 2024 to the National Science Centre, New Delhi. The objective of the visit was to deepen the comprehension of diverse scientific ideas through engaging exhibits and educational displays. The National Science Centre is a renowned institution dedicated to promoting scientific awareness and fostering a spirit of inquiry among visitors of all ages. Situated in the heart of city, it has an extensive collection of displays that span a variety of subjects, including physics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, and technology. The visit began with a brief orientation about the national science centre by the staff members, following which the students progressed to the different sections on different floors to explore the centre. There were a lot of interactive exhibits in the Science Centre that engaged the students in the direct hands-on learning experiences. From exploring principles of optics to understanding the mechanics of simple machines, these exhibits made scientific concepts accessible and enjoyable. One of the highlights of the visit was the captivating Holo show. Through state-of-the-art visual projections and narration, the students embarked on a journey through the human body parts, their mechanism of actions and importance. The immersive experience left a lasting impression on all students. The different sections had the demonstrations and applications of scientific principles to the working of the objects around us. The students explored each floor and developed insights and understanding of the various concepts and principles of sciences.
The visit was indeed an enlightening and enjoyable experience fostering a deeper understanding on the wonders of the natural world and left a lasting impression on the students inspiring them to keep exploring the frontiers of science and knowledge.
