First Prize at Yureka “ Apps for YU Challenge”
Dhruv Dangi, a student of Computer Science & Engineering, MRCE participated in an online competition Yureka “ Apps for YU Challenge” organized by YU from Micromax, inviting India developers of all age groups to make apps for Cyanogen OS (Android).He developed and submitted his app named ‘Transparency’ and has won the first prize of Rs 1,00,000 /( One Lakh ) & a Cell phone YU Yureka.
Transparency comes to your rescue wrapped up in just 1.7 Mb. This app displays the number of unlocks within a day, list of apps used, picture of the person who used the phone and much more.It also provides many custom settings to meet the user’s requirements like timed alerts to check phone usage, blacklisted apps, ignored apps and a lot more.For security purpose, you can set a password on the app itself so that only you are able to see the data.The widget is almost transparent giving it a clean and minimalistic look. The elegance of this app is reflected in its UI which is inspired by material design.
