Research Incubator

Research Incubator’ launched at Manav Rachna University to introduce the novel concept of ‘Research Integrated B.Tech’.Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) launched ‘Research Incubator’ and reaffirmed its commitment to Research and Innovation. Henceforth, Research & Innovation Clusters (#RICs) and CentresofExcellence (CE) are also made a part of the institutions of Manav Rachna to bridge the gap between theory and practice so as to enable the students to improve their skills and set up their own horizons to do quality research even at the undergraduate level in collaboration with academic partners and industries for the benefit of society. MREI has joined hands with Accendere Knowledge Management Services Pvt Ltd to come out with the novel concept of ‘Research Integrated B.Tech’. It is envisioned that students starting from their second year of engineering, will be encouraged to come out with novel areas in their field of interest that may result in conference publications, research papers and patents. The launch with Accendere, a CL Educate group entity, will go a long way towards the nurturing of an Innovation Ecosystem. Seed funding or angel investing would be an integral part of this 2020 initiative. The tie-up would involve corporate funded fellowships, funded research and creating Centres of Excellence. Financial technology, Auto-technology, Energy (including solar power) and IOT (Internet of Things) would be the core areas of focus for innovation.

Earlier, only Ph.D. and Post graduate students were engaged in the research and innovation process. But with the current Research Incubator launch, second year Undergraduate students and 1st year post graduate students would actively participate in the research-driven initiatives at the campus.
