B.Sc(H) Physics- 3 year full-time regular course (six semesters )

50% or more marks in 10+2 with aggregate of three Science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths along with English

Q3. For entrance exams is there any prescribed syllabus for students?
It is based on 10+2 level of Physics.

Q18. What is the structure of the programme?
The B.Sc programme is designed to provide basic and updated knowledge of physics and its applications in many areas. All the programs give hands on practical experience and training by various practical classes, The students are also trained to develop multidisciplinary approach by carrying a research project.

Q19.What are the teaching-learning approaches used?
The B.Sc program utilizes a combination of teaching and learning approaches which include lectures, tutorials, practical classes, seminars, problem-based learning, field visits, group/individual assignments, and development of communication skills. Students are required to undertake research projects in the final year of the program. With this knowledge and skills, the students are able to work in their future effectively.

Q20. Who are the teaching staffs?
The department has well-qualified, experienced teaching staff. There are three professor, one associate professor and two assistant professor. They are also actively involved in research and have published extensively in different areas of physics.

Q23. Does the course include any soft skills / personality development training?
Soft skills development and personality development session are integral part of the curriculum. Manav Rachna University offers special subjects on communication skill and personality development along with foreign languages (French, German, Spanish, Arabic ) soft courses.

Q24. Besides M.Sc Physics what other post graduation courses can be done after B.Sc?
Students have a lot of carrier options for higher studies after B.Sc they can opt. MBA, M.Com, and MCA amongst other disciplines.

Q25. Are the students eligible for Civil services or other national exams after completing B.Sc from Manav Rachna University?
Yes.

MRU campus has adequate facilities for sports and cultural activities. There are cultural and hobby clubs including band/orchestra in various institutions. The students regularly participate in Intra College and inter college sports & cultural activities and have won numerous prizes.

Q28. Should the parents come along with the candidate for admission?
It is not mandatory for parents to attend the counseling. It is left to the parents to decide about
this.

Q30. What is the mode of payment of fees?
Through Demand draft/Pay Order/ through Credit/Debit card. Cheques are not accepted.

Q31. Does MRU arrange for Educational loan through banks?
Educational loans are provided by all Nationalized Banks. And the individual student has to approach the Bank of his/her choice.

Q32. Is the loan facility available only to candidates who belong to NCR?
No, loan facility is available for students all over India subject to fulfillment of conditions stipulated by the bank extending the education loan.

Q33. How many working days in a week does MRU work?
The regular curriculum classes are held from Monday to Friday.

Q34. What kind of grooming programs are offered to the students?
We organize Personality Development classes conducted by Corporate Trainers, helping students to develop Soft Skills, Career Exploration, Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, Presentation Skills, and Team Building Skills etc.
