- Sedimentology: (Clastic and Chemical)
- Sequence stratigraphy
- Sedimentary facies and basin modelling in Paleoproterozoic Gwalior and Bijawar Basin
- Geochemistry and Isotopes studies of chemical sediments (BIF, Phosphorite, Manganese, Carbonates etc) in Late Archean to late Proterozoic basin of peninsula India.
