The MoU entails the setting up of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) which will have world-class infrastructure facility to work on CAE related projects. This is the first such CoE at a University in North India. Manav Rachna University will conduct formal courses (part of the curriculum) for students. It will also offer regular short-term training programs as per the needs of the industry.

NSDC: The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Ministry of Skill development and Entrepreneurship has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Algonquin Community College in areas of collaboration for skill development during the visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi to Canada in April 2015. MREI was the Indian partner for Algonquin in this initiative. Taking this forward, the Government of Haryana (GoH) has set up State Level Skill Development Missions to provide inter-sectoral coordination at State level. Manav Rachna Educational Institutions play an important role in carrying forward this MoU. Under this agreement, MREI is setting up a training Centre of Excellence in the automotive and construction sectors at its campus in Faridabad.

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE): In pursuit of bringing the best education to its students, MREI have initiated a tie-up with BSE Institute, the bseeducation & training wing of Bombay Stock Exchange which is the oldest and the largest (in terms of companies listed and fastest stock exchange in the world) to offer both short term and medium term courses in the Finance space which are both skill as well as employment oriented. This will give the students of Manav Rachna an opportunity to gain from their invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience. BSE Institute also plans to invest not only in class room education but also in creating a lab with semi live data which will help students gain practical knowledge of the markets and online trading.

SPEFL-SC, Sports, Physical Education, Fitness & Leisure Skills Council (SPEFL-SC), a skill development council for the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness & Leisure Sector, promoted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and funded by the Government of India through National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), enter into the agreement with FAS (MRIIRS) to offer skill development training programs for employment in Sports, Physical Education, Fitness & Leisure Industry Sector, for which both SPEFL-SC and MRIIRS shall deploy their core competencies. MRIIRS shall be Training Partner for conducting training programs, organizing the assessment & certification of Trainers and trainees from SPEFL-SC. Sports Skill Council has declared MRIIRS as its stand alone centre in view of the facilities available for training.Students will get certificate of completion once they complete a course through Manav Rachna CISCO Networking Academy. The advantage of these programmes is that they are self-paced as well as instructor driven which means that students will also interact with the instructors for better understanding of the course content. Students will also get to work on assignments and quizzes which are the part of the course curriculum and this will help them enhance their skills to the levels which are required by the industries. The aim of these high tech programmes is to make the students job ready and supporting them with professional certification from CISCO. Scholarship of upto 70% for professional certification exam fee on the basis of merit in the CISCO NETACAD programmes.
