Manav Rachna Educational Institutions sign MoU with Su-Kam Power Systems

  • To offer a structured B. Tech EEE program with specialization in Power Electronics at Manav Rachna International University (MRIU)

Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, today, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Su-Kam Power Systems spanning a wide array of interest areas across Manav Rachna International University (MRIU) and Manav Rachna University (MRU).

As part of the MoU with Manav Rachna International University (MRIU), a “B. Tech EEE with specialization in Power Electronics” Program will be jointly developed by SU-KAM and MRIU shortly.  Su-Kam will also establish a ‘Centre of Excellence of Power Electronics’ at MRIU campus. The MoU with MRIU was signed by Mr. KunwerSachdev, MD- Su Kam and Dr. N C Wadhwa, VC, MRIU in the presence of eminent dignitaries and senior functionaries. A MoU was also signed between Manav Rachna University (MRU) and Su-Kam to establish collaboration on academic and research areas leading to developmental activities in the area of ‘Solar Energy’. Under this MoU, a ‘Centre for Solar Energy’ of SU-KAM at MREI campus will also be established. The MoU with MRU was signed by Mr. KunwerSachdev, MD- Su Kam and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava, VC, MRU.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI said: “We at MREI deeply admire your ‘Sense of Purpose’ and one of the perfect example of “Make in India”. We would very much like to join hands with Su-Kam Power Systems in a big way towards the fulfillment of national aspirations linked to Nation building and job creation through innovative approach”.

While signing the MoU, Mr. KunwerSachdev, MD, Su-Kam expressed: “I am happy to note that Manav Rachna Educational Institutions are committed to a culture ofexcellence in professional education and research. At Su-Kam we believe, that future can only be nurtured by wisdom of those who have achieved success and
laid a glorious path for others to follow. And these MoUs are a step in this direction.”

Dr. Amit Bhalla, VP, MREI said: “Dreaming big is a good thing. It is only when you dream big that you will be able to achieve at that scale. We are looking forward to bringing together some great projects with Su-Kam”.
