Event Description

To commemorate centenary birth year of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai from 12th August 2019 to 12th August 2020, ISRO is organising Vikram Sarabhai Centenary Programme (VSCP) at both national and international level. During the VSCP, sequence of events are planned to be organized at 100 locations throughout India. RRSC-North, NRSC, ISRO, New Delhi; DOS Branch Secretariat, New Delhi & Delhi Earth Station (SAC), in partnership with reputed education institutes/universities are jointly organising VSCP in Delhi and Haryana states. Faridabad being a prime area in Delhi-NCR is chosen by ISRO as one of the location for hosting the VSCP. Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad is involved in various research and development activities and is a well-known Educational Institute in the region. MRIIRS co-hosted the prestigious VSCP jointly with ISRO from November 20. 2019 to November 22, 2019.
