About

The key educational goal of the department is to offer high quality undergraduate and postgraduate education to MRU students so as to equip them with valuable knowledge as well as with technical, creative, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills. This will empower the students for their future careers in any chosen field. The teaching of humanities is anticipated to make students realize that the sheer possession of knowledge is worthless, unless it orients to constructive ends. To make them sentient that knowledge alone is shallow, if it is not associated with ethics, values, morals, emotions, precedence, insight, and the other transcendent realities.

Located within Department of Humanities and Language, the English Language cluster looks after the area of Business Communication. Now in sync with the changing times, we have branched out and the effort now is geared towards bridging the gap between the place of study and the place of work by enhancing students’ employability skills as well.
