About Department of ECE
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established under
MRCE in 2004. The department offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) and Ph.D.
courses. The Department of Electronics and Communications fosters building capacity for
applying cutting-edge technologies in the development of new products and services by
collaboratively developing programs/courses for industry/society at large. Department nurtures
the national and international competitiveness of the students by facilitating international
internships and industrial project opportunities and fostering an ecosystem conducive to
innovations. Department provides support in sustaining a healthy society by improving the
quality of life through the application of technology. To fulfill the initiatives mentioned, the
department has the latest lab facilities in IoT, control systems, Network analysis, Wireless
communications, Robotics, and the Brain-computer interface.

Course Objective: The course is designed to give the student an understanding of the different design steps required to carry out a complete digital VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) design and understand the concepts of Physical Design Process
