As the program is designed with a focus on contributing towards the “Make in India” slogan and helping develop software-enabled electronic hardware products, Electronics and Communication Engineers have a high caliber to find jobs with entry-level packages of Rs. 5.0 – Rs. 20.0 lakhs per annum. These graduates would have excellent opportunities in Public/Govt. sector organizations like BEL, BSNL, BHEL, NHPC, NTPC, DMRC, C-Dot, HAL, Airport Authority, BARC, ISRO, DRDO, NTRO, CSIR, and SAMEER. The teaching methodology adopted by the Department is in complete synergy with the latest and evolving market challenges and trends. We follow highly interactive, student-centric, and innovative teaching methodologies that emphasize learning by experimenting and experiencing to groom future technical leaders and managers. These include case studies, audio-visual presentations, group discussions, role-plays, brainstorming, industrial visits, symposia, seminars, projects, quizzes, and special lectures of experts from the corporation. Adequate focus is given to enhancing analytical powers, Computational skills, problem-solving strategies, and team spirit. A rich association of the best industry professionals and highly competent faculty members thrust towards the practical orientation backed with a thorough theoretical base.

Many courses are offered under Project-based learning mode, classroom deliveries will cover the fundamental concepts. The students would be required to work on a project in a team comprising of 3-4 members. These projects would be based on the fundamental principles of the respective subject that is /are offered in PBL mode and should be preferably on the current societal needs. While working on the project students are expected to apply the knowledge of all the subjects they have studied or studying during that semester and provide innovative solutions to the problems undertaken.



In the tougher times of COVID-19, the department immediately shifted to the online mode, engaging through various platforms like Zoom, Google Classroom, and MS Team. The internal and final examination was also conducted on various online platforms

The department has state-of-the-art, modern, and well-equipped Laboratories with adequate facilities. Classrooms are fitted with the latest equipment for making presentations, lectures, debates, and group discussions take place in the most convenient and enriching way. Students get all the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) support in their Smart Classrooms and are encouraged to perform as digital learners. The latest technology with Interactive Boards and Projectors is extensively used in the classroom to benefit young learners. The dimensional Structure of the Classrooms, Tutorial Rooms, and Laboratories are also as per the latest AICTE norms.
