Advance Learners
Advance learners are those students who have been academically performing well and wish to spend more time working on projects/competitions/ start-up’s/ consultancy by getting exemption/ relaxation from regular lab/classes.
The Departmental Review Committee for Advanced Learners assess the students who approach for exemption from routine labs/ classes, to work on projects or pursue assignments beyond the university curriculum.
Process is as follows
- Student submit application to Head of Department for consideration under Advance Learner category
- If found suitable,student is asked to present details of planned work and past achievements in the allotted time slot in front of DRC-AL
- DRC-AL finally approves/disapproves based on the presentation and application submitted.
- If approved,information is disseminated foe exemption to Program Coordinator,Project mentor and student.
- Monthly progress to be reviewed by DRC-AL in presence of project mentor for continuation of exemption.

Student Achievement
- Parul Taneja, B.Tech CSE 2nd Year, selected as IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Coordinator in IEEE Delhi Section SSN Council 2018-2019. Under the Asia-Pacific Region (10th region of IEEE), Delhi Section is one of the 11 Sections in India.
- Nilansh Khurana, the student team from MRIIC has bagged top position in the recently conducted robotics championship event at IIT Guwahati (Techniche- Annual Techno-Management Festival of IIT Guwahati). Students were awarded with Gold medals, trophies and a cheque of 30,000 INR for winning this event.
- Manish Khurana, has been selected for Internship with Google Summer of Code 2018, wherein he received 2400 USD on completion of the same.
- Nishu Goel, B.Tech-IT 2018 Graduate from Manav Rachna University, was invited as an international speaker to talk on ‘Custom Directives in Angular’, at ng-Nepal Angular Conference 2018
- Daksh Sharma, B.Tech. CSE 7th Semester, Manav Rachna University, is currently attending Summer Quarter at Stanford University, United States of America.

Student Achievement
- Parul Taneja, B.Tech. CSE 2nd Year,from Delhi Section selected in IEEE India Council Student Coordination Team 2019.
- Parul Taneja & Ravi Prakash, students of B.Tech CSE Manav Rachna University, participated in HackIIITD held at IIIT Delhi recently, and were ranked amongt Top 5, out of 60 teams from various parts of India.
- Parul Taneja , Deepak Rana and Mukul Singh, participated in Vihaan 2.0, 24 hrs Hackathon organized by IEEE Delhi Technical University and powered by PAYTM. Students grabbed 3rd position among best 40 teams across the states. They got a Cash Prize of Worth Rs 10,000/- along with Internship offer from PAYTM and Online Cloud Credentials of Worth $1,000.
- Mukul Singh, Parul Taneja,Deepak Rana, won Second Prize of Rs. 20,000/- cash, under the theme – “Security & Surveillance”, amongst 151 teams across the state during 24hrs HACKATHON “TECHNOVATION”, organized by Sharda University of School & Technology. The Team presented the solution i.e P-BAND Pollution Band.
