Program Educational Objectives

Preparation : A broad general education assuring an adequate foundation in mathematics, science relevant to computer engineering.

Core Competence :  A solid understanding of concepts fundamental to the discipline of computer science engineering.

Breadth : Good analytic, design and implementation skills required to formulate and solve computing problems.

Professionalism : The ability to function and communicate effectively as ethically socially responsible computer science engineering professionals.

Learning Environment : To provide student awareness of the life-long learning and provide a familiarity with professional issues in computer science engineering: ethics, emerging technologies, and fostering of important job related skills. 

 

Program Outcomes B.Sc (Hons.) Chemistry

  • Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of Chemistry and chemical technologies
  • Graduates will be able to design, carry out, record and analyze the results of chemical experiments.
  • Graduate will be able to use modern instrumentation and classical techniques, to design experiments, and to properly record the results of their experiment.
  • Graduates will be skilled in problems solving, critical thinking and analytical reasoning.
  • Students will have a firm foundation in the fundamentals and application of current chemical and scientific theories including those in Analytical, Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistries.
  • Graduate will demonstrate skills to use modern chemical equipments to solve an issue related to chemistry.
  • Graduates will demonstrate knowledge to use modern library searching and retrieval methods to obtain information about a topic.
  • Graduate will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Graduate will show the understanding to identify and solve chemical problems and explore new areas of research.
  • Graduate will develop confidence for self education and ability for life-long learning.
  • Graduate who can participate and succeed in competitive examinations.

 

Program Outcomes M.Sc Chemistry

  • Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of formulation of chemical industrial technology.
  • Graduates will demonstrate an ability to identify chemical end product by spectroscopic techniques.
  • Graduate will demonstrate an ability to implement specific chemical synthesis and product and test by latest instrumentation techniques.
  • Graduates will demonstrate an ability to develop chemical solvent preparation as per needs and specifications.
  • Students will demonstrate an ability to display reactant compounds, conditions like temp, pressure and concentrations carried out in chemical laboratory.
  • Graduate will demonstrate skills to use modern spectroscopic instruments, data analysis and application in chemical industry.
  • Graduates will demonstrate knowledge by conducting workshops, seminars, conferences and hands on practice in the laboratory.
  • Graduate will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Graduate will show the understanding of impact of chemical end product development in formulation of drug synthesis and in various chemical industries.
  • Graduate will develop confidence for self education and ability for life-long learning.
  • Graduate who can participate and succeed in competitive examinations.

After the completion of the program, the students will:

  2. PSO 2 Demonstrate an ability to develop inter and transdisciplinary approaches to connect with community and to provide solutions to emerging problems.
  3. PSO 3 Demonstrate bridging of the gap between academia, industry and society through field based projects and social engagements.

Program Specific Outcomes – B. A. B. Ed.

After the completion of the program, the students will:

  1. PSO 1 Demonstrate the practical and theoretical understanding of core humanities courses: History/English/political Science/economics
  2. PSO 2 Demonstrate an ability to develop inter and trans disciplinary approaches to connect with community and to provide solutions to emerging problems.
  3. PSO 3 Demonstrate bridging of the gap between academia, industry and society through field based projects and social engagements.

Program Specific Outcomes – B. Ed. S.E. (L.D.)

  1. PSO 1 Demonstrate the skills of carrying out screening, assessment, and identification of children with disabilities.
  2. PSO 2 Demonstrate the skills of curriculum planning and implementation for children with disabilities.
  3. PSO 3 Demonstrate the skills of IEP planning and lesson planning for children with disabilities.
  4. PSO 4 Demonstrate the practical and theoretical understanding of learning theories and their classroom implications.
  5. PSO 5 Demonstrate the skills of applying the principles of universal design for learning in inclusive classrooms.
  6. PSO 6 Demonstrate the skills of using ICT for teaching children with disabilities.
