Brief Profile:
Prof. B. D. Pathak is presently representing the position of Dean Examination at MRU. Formerly he had been associated with the examination and evaluation system of prestigious institutions like Faculty of technology, Delhi University and Delhi Technological University.
Prof. B. D. Pathak has served Delhi College of Engineering and Delhi Technological University in various capacities, by serving at the posts of Dean academic, Dean continuing education, Head of Department of Mechanical, Production & Industrial and Aeronautical engineering . During his stint with the university, he had also played key roles as the Chairman of Admission Committee and Purchase Committee, along with being the First Appellant authority RTI, DTU.
Prof. B. D. Pathak had also been associated with the Industry in the role of Chairman TDDP project – ‘Development and commercialization of seat mechanism’ of DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology GOI.
The research interests of Prof. Pathak are vested in the fields of Fluid mechanics, Thermal engineering and Turbo machines. He has successfully guided many PhD and MTech dissertations in these fields.
