Training of IV & VI Sem EEE students on Power Plant Simulator at NPTI Faridabad
IV & VI Semester students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering visited National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Faridabad recently for a one-day training program on Power Plant Simulator. Students gained hands-on experience on this advanced training tool that is majorly used for Plant Operation Staff Training in fields like unit start-up, shut-down, load, operation and emergency handling etc.
This training program was arranged at NPTI Faridabad with an objective to demonstrate the various processes involved in using the simulator during operations and maintenance of power stations. Students also gained knowledge about the working of combined power generation and hybrid plants by using Thermal and Solar power as a source of energy.
Dr. Mahendra Singh – Assistant Director, NPTI Faridabad conducted the training sessions. The visit turned out to be a great learning experience for students.
