Biochemistry Lab

The Biochemistry Laboratory of the Department of Biotechnolgy, FET, MRIIRS caters to the undergraduate as well as Post Graduate students of the department. The experiments carried out in the laboratory involves quantitative and qualitative estimation of biomolecules, analysis of biological samples such as blood, urine and saliva, chromatographic techniques such as thin layer chromatogaraphy and paper chromatography, etc. The laboratory is well equipped to handle the experiments of Biochemistry.

Equipments:

The instruments available in the laboratory are Spectrophotometer, Colorimeter, Burettes, Water Bath, Hot air oven etc.

Students pursuing research at undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D level regularly use the laboratory facilities.
