Q2. What is Interior design?
Ans. Interior Design is the profession that focuses on the layout, design and aesthetics of interior spaces, buildings and other structures. Interior designers work in a wide range of settings, including residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional environments.

Q3. Are drawing skills mandatory to join B.Sc.-ID course?
Ans. 
No, the course curriculum is designed in a manner that a student is introduced and trained in basics in first semester to eventually introduced to advanced and specialized techniques.

Q4. Are drawing skills required for an Interior Designer? Why?
Ans. As the interior designer’s work is based on conceptual design, drawing is one of the tools to depict the ideas developed for the client’s needs.

Q5. What are the profiles aimed at after completing this course? 

AnsInterior Designers can work as: Space Planner, Freelance Interior Designer, Office Space Designer, Set Designer, Corporate Showroom Designer, Art Director, Furniture Designer, FengShui and Vastu Consultant, Wall Covering Designer, Window Treatment Specialist, Interior Design Educator, Kitchen & Bath Designer, Design Journalist, Color Consultant etc.

Ans. The creative skills and the design capabilities are the prime investments for any Interior Designer. Depending on the nature of project and innovative skills of students, business could be started as soon as after graduating.

Q10. How does Interior Designing differ from Architecture?
Ans. 
Architects and Interior Designers work very differently. Most Architects work with structure and building design and prefer not to work with details of interiors, such as Kitchen and Bath design, Custom Cabinetry, Built-ins, Color schemes, Wall and Window treatments. Designers can create a master plan for the interiors of your entire home or office, which can be implemented in stages, as & when your budget allows.

Ans. 
Yes, a fresher can start his/her own business as we give exposure to the students in the area of entrepreneurship also.

Yes, lectures are scheduled by experts of various fields like Architects, Vaastu Experts, Estate Manager, Professional Model makers etc.

Ans. 
Yes, workshops/seminars/ exhibitions are conducted, where the students get an interactive session with the industry experts. In short, all such activities are an integral part of this program.

Ans. High level and high end industrial manufacturers hire product designers with high pay and perquisites with immediate promotions as per trends. Moreover freelance designers are also working globally and in collaboration and yearning six figure incomes.

There are enormous opportunities forInterior Design graduates to secure a job in private sector. Many private organizations such as Boutiques, Hotels, Fashion Media, marketing sector, Furniture Manufacturing Units, and Quality Control Offices, etc offer huge openings for the Interior Design Graduates. Q2- How we are different from other colleges?

We have the best faculties, infra and most importantly we practice collaborative learning. We offer industry culture in the studio/ lab work and practical subjects. Students already have started working on the commissioned work, they have fetched through their online contacts. We are promoting such activities under trends and technology criteria.

Our students are going to work/collaborate with students of computer applications for their game development subject and their UX/UI

The curriculum /subjects more or less similar to other colleges are taught differently, with the assignments based on TECHNOLOGY , up gradation, and the global issues / social issues incorporated with the students innovative and out of the box approach.

Q3- Tell something about the student’s placements after the completion of the course?

We started the course in 2020 so our students are yet to be placed. But we the faculties have our professional network and our experiences, through which we are going to place the students for their internships and the jobs too.

 Usually we tell how our students from earlier colleges placed and how we helped them with our network.
