E-Classes

Manav Rachna Dental College has been innovating on its teaching methodology in these testing times to provide students quality learning experience even when they are not able to physically attend their classes. MRDC has been among the first institutions in the country to adopt online classes for dentistry. Both the students and the faculty were quick to adapt to the circumstances and we are now at a status where the classroom teaching and other learning modules barring patient work is being conducted online using Microsoft Teams and Whatsapp groups.

MRDC has been conducting online lectures for all the years of study from first to final years and post graduates. The lectures are interactive and involve various methods of teaching including online demonstrations, power point presentation, whiteboard and videos. Additionally, we are also conducting clinical as well as preclinical problem solving sessions, seminars and health talks for UGs as well as journal clubs, seminars and thesis discussions for post graduate students.
The classes also include assignments and tests for students. Further, we are also planning to test these students as a part of internal assessment examination. The attendance for the classes is high at an average of 85% showing that we are engaging students into productive teaching. We wish to reach to the epitome of teaching- learning at these testing time with the strength and grit of our team as well as will and resilience of our students.
